All Exhibitors are to report to the Info Desk upon arrival inside the Boardwalk Exhibition Centre on level B1 to register before commencing their build.
Monday 30 July 2018 (from 12h00) – Only Exhibitors who have booked Floor Space and not taken the Shell Scheme or Chipboard Package may start building their stands – please make prior arrangements with HOMEMAKERS by e-mailing Michelle Crouwkamp michelle@homemakers-sa.co.za
Tuesday 31 July 2018 (from 08h00) + Wednesday 1 August 2018 (from 08H00) – The Venue is open for ALL Exhibitors to build up their stands.
Exhibitors will need to also complete any outstanding forms and settle any outstanding payment.
Exhibitors will be issued with with 4 Exhibitor badges during Registration. Should you require additional badges, please complete Form 1
Please be vigilant with who you give these Exhibitor Badges to because these Exhibitor Badges will allow access to the venue during build-up, show times and breakdown.
The Organisers reserve the right to confiscate any badges being misused. Badges may not be handed to non-exhibitors i.e. family members to gain access.
Build-up and breakdown stickers will be issued during registration at the Info Desk.
Please be vigilant with who you give these stickers to because this will allow access to the venue during the build-up and breakdown days.
These stickers need to be worn on build-up and breakdown days ONLY by any contractor, staff member or any other person involved with the build-up or breaking down of your stand.
For security reasons, please ensure these contractors/staff members wear their sticker at all times while at the venue.
These “drop & go” vehicle access tickets allow exhibitors access to the “drop & go zone” parking bays on the following days for loading purposes during build-up and breakdown ONLY:
Homemakers will have trolleys and assistants available (between 08h00 and 18h00 during Build-up and Breakdown) to assist you to your stand.
These trolley assistants have been employed to assist you with the loading process. We have put systems in place to streamline the loading zone, PLEASE DO NOT ABUSE THIS PROCESS.
Please be aware that you may be forced to park in a “parking holding area” adjacent to this entrance during peak times. This will only occur when the parking bays at the “drop & go zone” are full.
IN ORDER TO ACCOMMODATE ALL THE EXHIBITORS, THIS “DROP & GO” ZONE IS LIMITED TO 20 MINUTES WHILE YOU LOAD / OFFLOAD.
DURING PEAK TIMES, IF YOUR 20 MINUTES ARE UP, YOU WILL BE ASKED TO MOVE YOUR VEHICLE. PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE TO YOUR FELLOW EXHIBITORS AND ADHERE TO THE 20 MINUTE TIME LIMIT FOR THIS AREA.
These “drop & go” vehicle access tickets will be available for collection at the Info Desk inside the venue from 30 July.

Please be reminded that the height restriction for this basement parking area is 2,2m!
It is COMPULSORY for all stands to be completed and ready by 8h00 on Thursday, 2 August 2018 to enable final cleaning.
Exhibitors are responsible for the removal of their own waste and rubble generated during Build-up and Breakdown.
No materials, crates, boxes or containers are to be left in the aisles during Build-up or in the venue during Breakdown.
PE Homemakers Expo are delighted to be once again partnering with Recycle Yourself who will be assisting them with the recycling and removal of all waste which will be generated during build-up, show time and breakdown of the Expo.
