Drop+Go Vehicle Access Tickets (For Loading/Unloading during Build-Up and Breakdown):
These “drop & go” vehicle access tickets allow exhibitors access to the “drop & go zone” parking bays on the following days for loading/unloading purposes during build-up and breakdown ONLY:
- Monday 30 July 12h00 and 21h00 (for pre-arranged build-up permission ONLY)
- Tuesday 31 July 08h00 - 21h00
- Wednesday 1 August 08h00 - 21h00
- Sunday 5 August Strictly only from 17h30 - 22h00
- Monday 6 August 08h00 - 21h00
HOMEMAKERS will have trolleys and assistants available (between 08h00 and 18h00 during Build-up and Breakdown) to assist you to your stand.
These trolley assistants have been employed to assist you with the loading/unloading process. We have put systems in place to streamline the loading zone, PLEASE DO NOT ABUSE THIS PROCESS.
Please be aware that you may be forced to park in a “parking holding area” adjacent to this entrance during peak times. This will only occur when the parking bays at the “drop & go zone” are full.
IN ORDER TO ACCOMMODATE ALL THE EXHIBITORS, THIS “DROP & GO” ZONE IS LIMITED TO 20 MINUTES WHILE YOU LOAD / OFFLOAD.
DURING PEAK TIMES, IF YOUR 20 MINUTES ARE UP, YOU WILL BE ASKED TO MOVE YOUR VEHICLE. PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE TO YOUR FELLOW EXHIBITORS AND ADHERE TO THE 20 MINUTE TIME LIMIT FOR THIS AREA.
Access to this “drop & go” parking area during Build-up and Breakdown:
- If you drive along Marine Drive, from Humewood, you turn right at the City Lodge robot, and immediately left behind the Courtyard Hotel and follow the road until you get to the Boardwalk Hotel underground parking garage entrance on the left.
- On Build-up and Breakdown days, Exhibitors will enter this “drop & go zone” on the complete left lane at the Boardwalk Hotel underground parking garage.
- Please ensure you enter the correct lane because space is limited to turn around here and this will add to congestion.
Please be reminded that the height restriction for this basement parking area is 2,2m
Pre-Ordered Special Underground Parking Tickets:
Exhibitors have the opportunity to purchase an 8-day (Monday 30 July to Monday 6 August) Boardwalk Hotel underground parking ticket at a reduced rate of R40-00 per day = R320-00. (The normal rate is R120-00 per day). Regrettably there is no other option but the 8-day ticket.

COMPLETED FORM AND PROOF OF PAYMENT REQUIRED BEFORE WEDNESDAY, 18 JULY 2018 IN ORDER TO PLACE THE PARKING TICKET ORDER.
REGRETTABLY – NO PARKING TICKETS CAN BE ORDERED AFTER THE ABOVE-DATE.
ONCE THE FORM AND PROOF OF PAYMENT ARE RECEIVED, IN ORDER FOR YOU TO BE ABLE TO USE THESE TICKETS FROM DAY 1 OF BUILD-UP, THESE PARKING TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR COLLECTION FROM THE INFO DESK INSIDE THE VENUE FROM MONDAY, 30 JULY.
Access to this underground parking area:
- This area is accessed exactly the same as the “drop & go zone” parking (left lane) – except you go to the middle lane and drive down one level to B2.
Please note the procedure on how to use these pre-ordered pre-validated underground parking tickets:
- When you arrive at the boom for the underground parking area for the first time, you take the ticket that the machine kicks out and enter.
- And when you want to exit, you insert your pre-validated parking ticket (which you would’ve collected from the Info Desk) and the boom will open. Be sure to then take the ticket back when the machine kicks it out.
- Please note, when you return the next day, you now enter and exit at the boom gate with the pre-validated parking ticket and you do so for the remainder of the validated time (valid until Monday, 6 August 2018).
