With a marketing spend in excess of R300 000-00 the show is set to draw visitors in the right target market.

An integrated proven and successful mix of radio, outdoor, print and public relations are employed in conjunction with an impactful and interactive online and social networking campaign.

HOMEMAKERS 2018 Expo theme celebrates the authenticity and beauty of real homes. Home is we laugh, love, cry and make memories. Our homes tell the story of our lives, it remembers our past, reflects our now through our décor and it is the backdrop for future dreams. It is a place to be celebrated!

The 2018 Port Elizabeth HOMEMAKERS Expo will take great strides in bringing a thrilling variety of features and exhibits, sure to tantalize every imaginable taste.

Radio:

A major morning and afternoon drive package, a blend of recorded generics, live reads, ticket giveaways and listener enticements on Algoa FM. Algoa FM will also be present at the show, adding to the fantastic show vibe. The campaign also includes other community radio stations.

Outdoor:

A mix of strategically well-positioned outdoor media options: Large format billboards (10 480 X 3 640) and banners on busy suburban routes in Port Elizabeth. Various A1 posters will be positioned at the Boardwalk.

Print:

Front covers, full and half page adverts in home interest consumer magazine HOMEMAKERSfair from April to August. HOMEMAKERS Expo will be featured in several local Newspapers and Monthly glossy magazines.

Online and Digital:

Extensive high yield online campaign including banners, promotional mailers and section sponsorships on popular home and property related websites, blogs and newsletters will be initiated. Our portal www.homemakersonline.co.za will host a huge campaign with dedicated expo related pages. All expo messages carried by other media within the expo marketing campaign drive visitors to the portal.

Public Relations:

The Public Relations campaign strongly supports the marketing campaign with added promotional and editorial exposure to the event in targeted consumer magazines, newspapers, radio and online.

Great Social Media Ideas:

  • We urge all exhibitors and their staff to ‘LIKE’ us on Facebook and ‘FOLLOW’ us on Twitterpin on our Pinterest board

  • Appoint one or more staff members to handle this important aspect of your own HOMEMAKERS Expo publicity campaign.

  • Include @SAHomemakers in all tweets – from build-up to after the show – We are going for a record of tweets and would like to reach trend status for the event.

  • Use hashtag as often as possible: #hmexpo

  • Submit press releases to the MEDIA announcing your upcoming attendance at the 2018 PE HOMEMAKERS Expo and include newsworthy content of interest. Include pr@homemakers-sa.co.za on your contact list as we love to use snippets on social media platforms and seek exposure opportunities for our exhibitors.

  • Submit articles of interest to the HOMEMAKERSonline blog where our 30 000 active online users can read it.
