Electrical Services:
- General Exhibitors who have taken floor space only, will receive one plug point per stand.
- General Exhibitors who have taken the Optional Extra Package, will receive one plug point and a light fitting per stand. Please note the light fitting you receive is one unit and cannot be split up to be put on opposite walls.
- ONLY Expo Guys are permitted to carry out electrical installations, and will be supplying a stand-by service for the duration of the exhibition for their electrical equipment.
- Electrical installations must be of a nature that will ensure safety in the use of electricity and must be carried out in a competent manner.
- All electrical equipment brought into the venue must comply with the South African electrical regulations and the Occupational Health & Safety Act (181 of 1983) and the Labour Relations Act (66 of 1985). Should this not be the case, equipment will be removed immediately from the premises at the Exhibitors expense and charges for any damage caused by the faulty equipment will apply.
- We therefore insist that all electrical work be carried out and overseen ONLY by the Expo Guys contractor.
- If you do not wish to order extra electrical services from Expo Guys and you have custom made, designer lighting which needs to be installed, please submit your request to the Organisers and a quote from Expo Guys will be organised.
- 15 Amps are allocated per exhibition stand to cater for normal exhibition requirements.
- However should it be necessary for equipment using more power (e.g refrigeration or large coffee machines), an additional electrical supply will need to be ordered. Please complete Form 5
- Please be specific as to what equipment you will be using on your stand. If you not sure if you need additional power supply please query it with the organisers.
- NO TWINFLEX WIRING WILL BE ALLOWED
- All electrical equipment hired from Expo Guys remain the property of Expo Guys
